This is a genuine leadership opportunity for a Chartered Structural Engineer who is ready to step into a senior technical and client-facing role, with a clear and realistic pathway to Associate Director level within 12-18 months.
Your new role as Associate Structural Engineer:
- Leading the structural design and delivery of projects across commercial, residential, industrial and mixed-use sectors.
- Acting as a senior technical authority, reviewing designs and providing guidance to engineers and technicians.
- Managing client relationships and contributing to repeat business and referrals.
- Supporting business development through bid input and early-stage technical advice.
- Mentoring and developing junior engineers, supporting a high-performance team culture.
- Contributing to strategic decisions as the business continues to grow.
What you will need to succeed:
- A degree in Structural or Civil Engineering.
- Chartered Engineer status, ideally with IStructE (ICE considered).
- Strong consultancy experience delivering building structures projects.
- Proven ability to lead projects and manage client relationships.
- A collaborative leadership style with an interest in developing people.
- Ambition to progress into an Associate Director role in the near term.
