Vickerstock are pleased to be partnering with a globally recognised engineering consultancy renowned for delivering major water, environmental and infrastructure programmes across the UK, Ireland and overseas. As the business continues to strengthen its technical footprint in Northern Ireland, they are seeking an accomplished Associate Civil Engineer to lead key water and wastewater projects while helping to develop and mentor the growing civil engineering team in Belfast.
Your new role as Associate Civil Engineer:
- Leading civil design delivery across clean and wastewater networks, treatment assets, drainage and hydraulic infrastructure.
- Preparing and reviewing technical outputs including reports, calculations, drawings and specifications.
- Acting as a trusted client interface, building and maintaining strong relationships with utilities, contractors and delivery partners.
- Supporting business growth across the UK and Ireland water sectors, including resource planning and capability development.
- Mentoring and developing junior engineers, embedding a culture of technical excellence.
- Promoting innovative, low-carbon and sustainable water solutions.
What you will need to succeed as Associate Civil Engineer:
- A degree in Civil Engineering (or a closely related discipline).
- Chartered Engineer status (ICE or equivalent).
- Strong consultancy background delivering water or wastewater projects.
- Sound technical expertise in drainage, networks, hydraulics and/or treatment infrastructure.
- Proven experience leading multidisciplinary teams and managing client relationships.
- A track record of mentoring engineers and contributing to team growth.
