Ferrovial Construction UK is seeking a Graduate Engineer to support day‑to‑day activities on major UK infrastructure projects as part of a 2‑year graduate development programme. The role involves working under the supervision of Section or Project Managers, collaborating with the site team, and managing small packages from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate team activities to ensure project completion on budget and on time.
  • Assist in ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements.
  • Support the Project Manager in team management, resourcing, performance, and employee development.
  • Promote Ferrovial Construction UK Vision and Values, taking ownership of assigned work.
  • Adhere to safe working practice regulations and ensure all staff comply with requirements.

Skills and Competence

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to interact at various levels.
  • Degree or master’s in engineering (all disciplines considered).
  • Proactive, motivated, and eager to learn and add value.
  • Analytical thinker who enjoys problem solving.
  • Strong team player, collaborative and supportive.
  • Logical thinker, resilient, flexible and results‑driven.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
