The company is a limited liability partnership employing over two hundred staff throughout the UK. They are one of the longest established firms in their sector with expertise covering building, construction, conservation, property, expert witness, land development, engineering and surveying. They have a full order book ensuring strong demand over the next ten years.
Your role involves reporting to the partner in charge of the division, focusing on the delivery of both construction and infrastructure projects across their full lifecycle from inception through to completion. Your base will be their London office, however their hybrid working policy provides flexibility to work from home. You will work closely with clients and your professional colleagues to provide consulting advice covering project setup, management, reporting, risk management and design team coordination. You will also manage procurement processes and act as contract administrator or employer's agent. You will play a key role as a member of a supportive project management team with direct access to a partner and mentor, ensuring clear guidance, professional development and opportunities for career progression.
Profile Required:
- A degree in civil engineering, construction or project management, or an equivalent qualification.
- Experience delivering construction projects within a professional environment, including project programming, feasibility studies and managing budgets.
- A strong understanding and use of the NEC contract form is essential, and familiarity with JCT contracts is highly desirable.
- Good interpersonal and organisational skills are essential for this role, as you will need the ability to lead project meetings and forge lasting, productive relationships with clients, contractors and colleagues.
