PSR Solutions is recruiting for a Section Engineer to work on projects in London, with offices in East and West London. The role supports the delivery of major water infrastructure projects across London, joining a well‑established contractor working on complex and high‑value civil engineering schemes within the water sector.
As a Section Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the successful delivery of projects from site level, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently, and on programme. The role involves close coordination with site teams, subcontractors, and project stakeholders, with a strong focus on self‑delivery operations.
Key Responsibilities- Managing day‑to‑day engineering activities on site
- Supporting the delivery of water and utilities infrastructure projects
- Coordinating self‑delivery works and site operations
- Ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards
- Producing and reviewing technical documentation including RAMS and ITPs
- Carrying out set‑out, surveying, and quality assurance checks
- Monitoring progress against programme and reporting updates to management
- Liaising with subcontractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders
- Assisting with planning and problem‑solving on site
- Proven experience working as a Section Engineer within civil engineering
- Previous water sector/project exposure is essential
- Strong self‑delivery experience is required
- Experience working on utilities, infrastructure, or heavy civils projects
- Degree/HNC/HND in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
- Valid CSCS card
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work effectively in fast‑paced project environments
