The Role
You will play a key role across both façade design and investigative consultancy projects, including:
- Design Responsibilities Provide conceptual advice on façade system selection and suitability
- Develop façade performance specifications and drawings
- Carry out thermal, acoustic, solar and embodied carbon assessments
- Undertake structural calculations for frames and glazing systems
- Coordinate façade design with fire, security and other disciplines
- Support tender-stage documentation and Employer's Requirements
- Consultancy / Survey Responsibilities Assist with façade inspections and condition surveys
- Support defect investigations and forensic analysis
- Contribute to remedial design and refurbishment strategies
About You
- Façade design experience
- Background working for a façade consultancy or specialist contractor
- Strong technical understanding of façade systems
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects
- Interest in developing broader consultancy and survey experience
- Desirable: Previous experience of survey work is desirable but not essential as guidance will be provided
- Interest in business development and client engagement
