Our client, a leading company in the Defence & Security sector, is currently seeking skilled PCB Layout Engineers to join their team on a contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with experience in PCB design to contribute to critical projects within the defence industry. The contract is initially set for 2 months, with the possibility of extension.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and layout of PCBs using Altium (or Ki-Cad)
  • Creating schematic and PCB component libraries
  • Implementing best practices in PCB layout and design
  • Collaborating with other engineers to ensure design specifications are met
  • Performing necessary simulations and testing of PCB designs

Job Requirements:

  • Strong experience with Altium (or Ki-Cad)
  • Proven ability to design up to 8-layer PCBs
  • Experience creating schematic and PCB component libraries
  • Good understanding of PCB layout best practices
  • Understanding of defence and security protocols in PCB design
  • Knowledge of STM32 microcontrollers (nice to have)
  • Experience with PCI BUS (nice to have)
  • Familiarity with DC/DC power (nice to have)
