Labcorp is seeking a Laboratory Supervisor to join our Immunology and Immunotoxicology (I&I) team at our site in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire.
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 08:30 - 5pm.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide supervisory leadership to local department staff supporting the applicable Flow Cytometry, Immunoassay, and Cell-based Assay functional areas.
- Plan, schedule and organize necessary resources for study conduct and assignments.
- Supervise all day-to-day delivery of I&I services in the respective operational functional area.
- Provide support to the Operations Manager and assist in the fulfillment of their responsibilities.
- Build familiarity with technical, regulatory and supervisory duties across all platforms within I&I which include the Flow Cytometry, Immunoassay, and Cell-Based assay platforms.
- Ensure staff conduct all work in compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, and specifically those regulations (GxP) specified in the study plans, protocols, or work agreements governing the work in which they are involved.
- Supervise equipment, schedules, instrument, and personnel needs to meet commitments to clients and department goals.

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree relevant to Immunology and Immunotoxicology e.g. Immunology, Biology, Biomedical Science.
Additional Job Standards
- Demonstrable experience in Immunology / Immunotoxicology procedures, with knowledge of method development, and validation preferred.
- Prior people management experience desirable.
- Knowledge of GxP and regulatory agency guidelines advantageous.
- Aptitude for teambuilding, leading teams and developing people.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to interact with staff at all levels.
- I.T proficiency including word processing and spreadsheet applications.
