YOUR ROLE
Our high-profile customer, based in London NW10 has the need for a Warehouse Operator to join their operations team. Due to the nature of the customer on site there will be a 3-month vetting process for the successful candidate before your start date. The shift pattern for this role is Monday to Friday 08:00am - 16:30am. The salary for this position is £25,836.72 per annum, plus an additional £1,259.44 per annum as a London Waiting Allowance and £1,040.04 as a Market supplement.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
- Unloading of supplier vehicles, completing box check against unloading manifest
- Undertaking handling tasks in the warehouse in an effective, efficient and safe manner ensuring all operational manuals and safe systems of work are followed in order to achieve an accident‑free operation.
- Preparing products for dispatch and receiving returned products in an effective and efficient manner.
- Load and unload vehicles in an effective, efficient and safe manner.
- Pass orders through the cross dock system in a fast and efficient manner
- Ensuring deliveries are received in good condition and fall within required temperature guidelines.
- Take part in site SCA and Operations Excellence processes.
- Ensure compliance for Quality and H&S audits
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for a candidate who has had previous experience in a Warehouse Operative, or those that are looking for a move into this field as full training is available. Due to the nature of the role, it is also essential that you are an excellent team player with a high attention to detail. You must also be comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-security environment.
