YOUR ROLE
Our team in Kettering is looking for a Warehouse Coordinator where you will oversee the management of the warehouse operation functions.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
Reporting into the Warehouse Controller, you will manage the warehouse operation functions to ensure the smooth and efficient operational activities of the warehouse to meet and exceed customer expectations. You will make sure that the warehouse operation is compliant which will include health and safety, compliance is followed. You will also:
- Oversee all functions including inbound, put away, picking, outbound and value add areas.
- Ensure the efficient and effective achievement of all operational targets and key performance indicators.
- Allocate work to all employees ensuring health & safety regulations are always adhered to.
- Train all staff within the operation to cover holiday, sickness, and absence.
- Monitor, record and maintain responsibility for lateness and absenteeism, taking appropriate action within levels of authority.
- Maintain an active commitment to your direct reports to ensure future development.
This is a Monday to Friday position, primarily working 10:00–18:30, with flexibility to cover other shifts between 06:00 and 22:30 as required.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Our ideal candidate will have experience working in a warehouse, ideally within a 3PL environment. You will be confident in producing accurate reports, managing and monitoring stock levels, and ensuring operational efficiency. We are looking for someone who goes the extra mile to deliver excellent customer service and has a genuine drive for continuous improvement and best practice. The successful candidate will also have experience leading and developing a small team, with the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, pressurised environment.
