YOUR ROLE
Based in London within the North Europe Region, you will support the Regional Commercial team in driving business performance and strategic initiatives. In a dynamic and demanding environment, you will play a key role in supporting business development activities, enhancing commercial performance monitoring, and contributing to regional growth priorities such as cross-selling and intermodal development.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
- Support the Regional Office in driving commercial performance, business development initiatives, and strategic projects across the North Europe region.
- A. Business Performance & Reporting
- Monitor commercial performance and support the preparation of regular business reviews.
- Analyze sales performance and identify trends, risks, and growth opportunities.
- Prepare and deliver clear and structured performance presentations for management.
- Develop and improve dashboards and reporting tools to support decision-making.
- B. Business Development & Commercial Support
- Support Sales Managers in identifying and developing new business opportunities.
- Contribute to the growth of market share across the region.
- Support cross-selling initiatives and track their performance.
- Assist in the development of intermodal solutions (rail, road, carrier haulage, etc.).
- C. Projects & Tools Development
- Contribute to the development and improvement of commercial tools and performance tracking systems.
- Support the deployment of regional programs and business initiatives.
- Participate in cross-functional projects involving multiple stakeholders.
- Ensure follow-up and coordination across teams to drive successful project execution.
- Monitor market trends and external factors impacting business performance.
- Consolidate market insights and translate them into actionable recommendations.
- Support strategic decision-making through data analysis and business insights.
- E. Cross-functional Collaboration & Exposure
- Work closely with 3 experienced Sales Managers and local teams on a daily basis.
- Interact with key stakeholders (GMS, CCO, Head Office, agencies).
- Ensure smooth communication and alignment between regional and local teams.
- Contribute to a strong team dynamic and collaborative work environment.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
According to French law, the VIE is only open to applicants aged 18 to 28 years old who are European citizens and do not already live in the country of destination.
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or related field (logistics or shipping is a plus).
- Strong interest in business development, commercial performance, and growth strategy.
- Solid analytical skills with the ability to translate data into insights and recommendations.
- Good command of Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to build clear and structured presentations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with senior stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding, and evolving environment.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage time and priorities effectively.
- Proactive mindset, curiosity, and willingness to learn and grow.
- Results driven and deadline-oriented, strong in project management.
- Team player with strong collaboration skills and adaptability.
- Comfortable challenging ideas constructively and engaging in business discussions.
- Fluent English is mandatory (French or another European language is a plus).
