YOUR ROLE
CEVA Logistics has been awarded a major new contract with a high profile client, marking an exciting phase of growth for the business expanding on our ecommerce offering. This is a new build implementation offering exciting opportunities across contract logistics. As a result, we have an amazing opportunity for a Systems & Reporting Manager who will lead the governance, integrity and exploitation of site systems, data, and performance reporting within our large scale ecommerce operation. This is a highly influential role, reporting directly to the Senior General Manager, where you will act as the site authority for WMS, data integrity and KPI reporting. You will play a critical role in ensuring operational, contractual and customer performance data is accurately measured, understood and translated into actionable insight.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
- Own the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and all site reporting outputs, ensuring data accuracy, alignment to client metrics and clear performance narratives.
- Provide deep dive analysis, root cause insight and structured reporting to support service recovery, continuous improvement and senior decision making.
- Act as site owner for the WMS and associated operational systems.
- Govern data integrity, KPI definitions and reporting standards.
- Produce accurate daily, weekly and monthly site and customer performance reports.
- Lead root cause analysis into KPI misses, service failure and performance variance.
- Translate complex data into clear, actionable insight for operational leaders.
- Own resolution of WMS and reporting issues impacting service or visibility.
- Support customer governance, audits and performance deep-dives with defensible data.
- Identify opportunities to improve reporting automation, insight and system capability.
- Lead and develop a team of systems & reporting leads across shifts.
- Partner closely with operations, planning, IT and client stakeholders.
- Support the Senior General Manager with any additional tasks as and when required.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
To be successful in your application you have proven experience of managing WMS, systems and performance reporting within a large logistics or ecommerce operation. You will have a strong understanding of operational data flows, KPI frameworks and reporting governance. You will be able to demonstrate proven experience of producing, explaining and defending performance metrics at a senior level, capable of structuring root cause and fact-based challenge analysis and be advanced in data literacy with strong Excel and reporting experience. You will be a strong communicator, problem solver and solutions focused individual, able to translate complex data into readable reports for internal and external stakeholder groups. Exposure to system implementations, upgrades and change programmes. Experienced in supporting customer audits, governance forums and regulatory reviews relating to systems and reporting. Use of BI tools, dashboards or automated reporting platforms.
