Our Air Operations team based in Heathrow, London has an exciting opportunity for a customer‑focused Air Export Coordinator, where you will be responsible for the daily delivery of superior customer and operational service. This role will see you working 4 on 4 off shift – 18:30 – 06:30. This role pays £31,000 per annum + shift allowance £4,800 per annum.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
- Managing air export shipments in line with customer SOPs and agreed quotations.
- Opening job files and arranging collections.
- Booking freight with airlines and liaising with airlines and handling agents.
- Proactively monitoring shipment progress and resolving delays or airline issues.
- Handling tie‑ups, ensuring cargo security and smooth handover to transport.
- Completing customs entries in line with HMRC compliance and MAWB requirements.
- Supporting customers with costing and invoicing queries.
- Providing a professional, responsive service to both customers and internal teams.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
To be successful in your application you will have proven experience of working within a freight forwarding or air operations environment, ideally within pharmaceutical or aerospace sectors. You will be IT literate and able to use MS based programs such as Excel or Word. You will have good attention to detail and be organised to effectively handle the fast‑paced nature of the operation.
