YOUR ROLE
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Shift Manager to join our operation in Kettering, responsible for ensuring contract warehousing activities are managed effectively and efficiently to exceed both customer and CEVA expectations. You’ll work in close partnership with operational teams and customer teams, leading and coordinating warehouse shift operations to deliver on service excellence, financial performance and safety targets.
This is a Monday – Friday role.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
- Report into the Contract Manager and manage daily interaction with the Stock & Planning teams to understand workflow and operational volumes across your shift.
- Coordinate your team’s daily activity to achieve operational targets while identifying areas for quality, cost and service improvements across the site.
- Collate all necessary site operational reports and data and submit them in line with required timescales.
- Maintain labour resource availability for spikes in volume and seasonality changes.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- Experienced Shift Manager or Shift Leader from a 3PL/warehousing background.
- Ideally prior experience operating within an FMCG/ecommerce operation.
- Strong people management skills with a focus on motivating and developing teams.
- Keen eye for detail and the ability to understand, follow and champion company procedures.
