YOUR ROLE
Our team based in Ashby, is looking for a Senior Project Manager to join on a 6-month fixed-term contract. In this role, you will lead the delivery of new business start‑ups and key internal strategic projects across all product lines within CEVA, ensuring successful implementation from initiation through to completion.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
- Lead and coordinate business projects and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency across the business.
- Manage the successful implementation of new customer contracts, business wins, and contract renewals from planning through to delivery.
- Support the implementation of improvement solutions across existing customer operations and other business units as required.
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with CEVA's project management methodology.
- Provide post-implementation support to ensure projects achieve their objectives and deliver lasting business benefits.
- Produce regular project updates and reports for senior stakeholders, including the Head of PMO and Business Unit Directors.
- Work closely with the Business Development team by preparing presentations and supporting new business opportunities.
- Build strong relationships with customers, keeping them informed of project progress and key milestones.
- Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks, issues, and change requests throughout the project lifecycle.
- Capture and share lessons learned and best practices to drive continuous improvement across the UK & Ireland PMO team.
- Collaborate with the Global PMO to support reporting, innovation, and the development of project management best practices.
- Deliver professional presentations and project updates to both internal and external stakeholders.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Our ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering business implementations and transformation projects, ideally within a 3PL, logistics, or supply chain environment. You'll have strong project management skills, including managing scope, budgets, timelines, risks, and resources, while leading and developing project teams. You should be confident building relationships with clients and stakeholders, managing expectations, and driving projects through to successful completion. Strong organisational, problem‑solving, communication, and decision‑making skills are essential, along with the ability to produce project plans, reports, and presentations. A good understanding of warehouse and transport operations is important, and you'll be comfortable using Microsoft Office and project management tools. PRINCE2 or another recognised project management qualification, leadership training, experience managing a PMO function, or leading organisational change programmes would all be advantageous.
