YOUR ROLE

Our operation based in Dublin is looking for an Air & Ocean Operational Process Specialist to join the team where you will ensure operational systems are used correctly and effectively, acting as the key link between the business, end users, and digital teams. You will support system compliance, training, KPI monitoring, and continuous improvement while enabling successful system deployments and innovation. This role is a Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., though there is flexibility on start and finish times. The position may also be based in Shannon.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

  • Analyse operational data to identify inefficiencies, performance gaps, and opportunities for improvement across Operations.
  • Drive continuous improvement by collaborating with Operations to develop and implement action plans that enhance performance, reduce cost to serve, and improve service quality.
  • Identify, assess, and manage system and process improvement requests, coordinating change requests with Business Lines and IT through to implementation.
  • Act as a key trainer and Subject Matter Expert for operational systems.
  • Deliver onboarding and system training to new and existing staff, tailoring sessions based on specific system requirements.
  • Lead training programmes, including CEVA onboarding and system training, ensuring users are confident across individual systems.
  • Provide ongoing support and best‑practice guidance on system usage.
  • Support system testing, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT), test script creation, and feedback reporting.
  • Provide Level 2 systems support for operational issues and system‑related queries.
  • Optimise operational processes by reviewing workflows and implementing efficiency improvements.
  • Create and maintain local Work Instructions, supporting regional and global documentation where required.
  • Support innovation and digital transformation initiatives, including Proof of Concept projects, deployments, training, and change management.
  • Act as the key communication link between end users and Business Lines.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in forwarding and supply chain operations, and experience working in Air and/or Ocean operations using operational systems. You will have a deep process knowledge, strong problem‑solving and continuous improvement capability, and proven experience in training, coaching, and change management. You will be confident, pragmatic, and results‑driven, influence stakeholders at all levels, and combine a hands‑on mindset with the ability to lead, motivate, and drive operational excellence. Experience with Cargowise would be a great advantage.
