Role Overview

Lead the day‑to‑day operations of the air export division, ensuring accurate, efficient, and compliant shipments while driving service excellence for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of export coordinators to deliver consistent, high‑quality performance
  • Manage daily workloads, ensuring all shipments meet airline timelines and customer deadlines
  • Act as the primary escalation point for key customers, resolving issues quickly and professionally
  • Oversee export documentation including checks, commercial invoices, and customs declarations
  • Coordinate with airlines, general sales agents, and handling agents to secure bookings and manage uplift performance
  • Ensure full compliance with security regulations and governing rules
  • Monitor KPIs and implement corrective actions to improve service and operational performance
  • Identify and drive continuous improvements across processes and service delivery
  • Support onboarding, training, and ongoing development of team members
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams across warehouses, import, finance, and customer service

Essential Qualifications

  • Proven experience in air export operations within freight forwarding or logistics, with demonstrated team leadership or supervisory skills.
  • Strong knowledge of airline requirements, cargo handling, and export documentation, including DG, customs, and security regulations.
  • Fluency with freight‑based systems and airline portals.
  • Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and negotiation abilities.
  • Minimum five years residency in the UK to meet security clearance requirements.
