YOUR ROLE
We are seeking a 7.5T Driver to join our operations team for a prestigious client based in London NW10. Due to the sensitive nature of the client, a thorough 3-month vetting process will be required for the successful candidate before the start date. The role will involve navigating internal drops at the client location. This includes moving items between various departments and ensuring timely and efficient delivery within the site. The shift pattern is Monday to Thursday from 04:30 to 13:30, and Friday from 04:30 to 13:00 with a salary of £41,801.76 per annum.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
- Ensure goods are delivered on time and to the correct location with accurate completion of associated system transactions.
- Ensure that daily vehicle checks are carried out and any defects are reported and remedied.
- Always comply with all vehicle and site security requirements.
- Oversee or check the safe loading of vehicle ensuring compliance with company and legislative safe working practices.
- Drive vehicle to destinations and tip load in accordance with customer requirements and special instructions.
- Carry out vehicle and auxiliary equipment checks prior to the operation of any vehicle and report any defects.
- Ensure compliance with security requirements in all areas of the operation.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for a candidate who has had previous experience as a Van driver. It is also essential that you hold a driving license. Due to the nature of the role, it is also essential that you are an excellent team player with a high attention to detail. You must also be comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-security environment.
