Position Overview
CEVA Logistics has secured a significant new contract, creating growth opportunities within our e‑commerce operations. The Inbound Team Leader will support the safe, accurate and efficient receipt of inbound goods within a high‑volume e‑commerce environment. Fixed AM and PM shifts are available: Monday to Friday, 6am to 2pm and 2pm to 10pm.
Responsibilities
- Reporting to the Inbound Shift Manager, you will lead frontline colleagues within your shift, ensuring inbound activities such as unloading, decant, verification and system booking are delivered accurately and on time.
- Lead inbound associates across designated work areas (unloading, decant, goods‑in).
- Allocate tasks and manage workflow to maintain steady inbound throughput.
- Ensure inbound volumes are processed accurately, safely and on time.
- Reinforce safety, standard work and quality checks at all times.
- Escalate issues, delays or constraints to the Inbound Shift Manager promptly.
- Provide day‑to‑day coaching, guidance and supervision to associates.
- Support onboarding, training and buddying of new starters.
- Monitor attendance, time‑keeping and basic performance issues.
- Contribute to structured shift handovers and accurate reporting.
- Identify inefficiencies and support continuous improvement activities.
- Assist the Inbound Shift Manager with any additional tasks as required.
Qualifications
- Experience working in a warehousing or logistics environment.
- Experience leading, supporting and coaching operational teams.
- Exposure to inbound, receiving or goods‑in activities.
- Strong safety awareness and attention to detail.
- Confident communicator with a calm and supportive leadership style.
- Basic WMS or scanning system experience.
- Exposure to lean or continuous improvement approaches.
- Proven experience in high‑volume or peak operations.
- Experience working in an e‑commerce environment.
