YOUR ROLE
We are looking for a detail-oriented Customs Clearance Coordinator to join the team based in Dartford where you will manage customs processes for trucks entering and leaving the EU and Ireland. You will ensure vehicles are checked in and out of the site in full compliance with HMRC regulations and support efficient customs operations.
This is a 4 on 4 off role working 6am – 6pm.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
- Accurately completing Import & Export declarations and Transit Movements.
- Performing vehicle and driver check-ins and check-outs at the site.
- Handling non-compliant shipments, including physical inspections where required.
- Carrying out key administrative tasks to support customs entry processes.
- Monitoring and maintaining compliance with HMRC/statutory requirements.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- Experience in customs processes, including declarations and transit movement handling.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to compliance.
- Familiarity with HMRC regulations and Quality Assurance Procedures.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Comfortable operating a Forklift Truck, or willing to be trained.
