We have an excellent opportunity for a Part Time Warehouse Operative at our site in ADC Barton under Needwood where you will be part of a successful team who are committed to supporting a high-profile customer. This is a critical role within the operation and directly contributes towards the efficiency and effectiveness of the team and operation.

This is a weekend shift position working Saturday and Sunday on a 12 hour shift, working 6am-6pm. We also offer 8 hour shifts available with start times varying from 6am, 8am or 10am. We are offering a salary of £15,487.68 plus a market rate supplement and potential additional earnings of up to £1,800 in supplements and bonuses depending on performance, attendance and manual handling equipment usage.

What are you going to do?

  • Unload vehicles, receipt and put away items
  • Pick orders, produce dispatch and carrier paperwork, and ensure it is logged onto the system where necessary
  • Load vehicles in accordance with delivery manifests
  • Liaise with Team Leaders to ensure work is allocated correctly
  • Maintain stock accuracy
  • Mandatory usage of MHE - valid licenses and experience are an advantage

What are we looking for?

  • Previous experience of working in a pick or pack operation would be desirable, however we are willing to consider individuals who are willing to learn
  • Comfortable working in temperature-controlled warehouse environments.
  • Contribute to operating in a clean, tidy and risk-free operation, adhering to company standards
  • Good communication skills and a great team player but also able to work alone where required
  • Knowledge of using a WMS preferably using SAP or Oracle interfaces would be beneficial
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines and targets
