YOUR ROLE
As a Warehouse Operative at our site in ADC Barton under Needwood you will be part of a successful team who are committed to supporting a high‑profile customer. This is a critical role within the operation and directly contributes towards the efficiency and effectiveness of the team and operation. The role has a focus on protecting service levels, preventing delays, and maintaining stock flow. The shift time for this position is 6:00 to 18:00 working Saturday and Sunday.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
- Ensure time‑critical orders are processed accurately, safely, and within set productivity measures.
- Unload vehicles, receipt and putaway items.
- Pick orders, produce/dispatch and carrier paperwork, and ensure it is logged onto the system where necessary.
- Load vehicles in accordance with delivery manifests.
- Liaise with Team Leaders to ensure work is allocated correctly.
- Maintain stock accuracy.
- Mandatory usage of MHE - valid licenses and experience are an advantage.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- Previous experience picking and packing, preferably using SAP or Oracle interfaces.
- Someone who is a great team player but also able to work alone where required.
- Able to work in a fast‑paced environment and meet deadlines and targets.
