Your role
Our operation based in Bristol is looking for a Quality Inspector where you will carry out the inspection function on both inbound and outbound deliveries to ensure airworthiness is maintained and that non‑confirming stock is prevented from entering the supply chain and ensure customer quality and integrity are always maintained. Due to the nature of the role and the security clearances required, applicants must have been resident in the UK for a minimum of 5 years and be a national of a NATO member country. This is an essential requirement for obtaining the necessary security clearance.
What are you going to do?
- Carry out inspection of receipted parts using a wide variety of inspection equipment to first principle of methods whilst interpreting the requirements from engineering drawings.
- Operating and maintaining the technical standards of the department.
- Work with the client and internal customers within the organisation to ensure and maintain excellent working relationships.
- Ensure that customer requirements are fulfilled to the highest possible standards at all times.
- Attend any developmental training as required in compliance with the Companies commitment to Investors in People standard.
This is a Monday to Friday 07:30 to 16:00 role.
What are we looking for?
- A recognised Engineering qualification NVQ Level 3 or above.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Experience gained using SAP is advantageous.
