YOUR ROLE
Our Air Operation based in London Heathrow, have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Import Operator to join their team. You will support with end-to-end monitoring of inbound movements and actively seek and implement cost savings on every shipment.
Due to the nature of the role and customer security clearance it is essential for the successful candidate to have resided in the UK for a minimum of 5 years.
This is a 4on/4off working pattern, 07:00-19:00.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
- Lead the arrangement from origin stations of consignments.
- Manage customs formalities for all Inbound/Outbound shipments.
- Monitor and report on time pick up and departure.
- Monitor and push through while in transit to ensure that consignments move as booked.
- Ensure that any delivery transportation requirements of the end customer are met.
- Compile daily reports on outstanding collections/deliveries.
- Ensure all enquiries or other communications are actioned promptly and efficiently.
- Ensuring we meet company DATA Quality KPI with required tracking information.
