YOUR ROLE
Are you an experienced Air Export professional looking for your next opportunity? Join our dynamic and fast-paced team in Manchester as an Air Export Coordinator, where you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth and compliant international shipments for our valued clients.
This role is Monday to Friday, 9am – 5:30pm
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
Reporting into the Branch Manager you will take ownership of the export operations ensuring the seamless delivery of services and maintaining consistency throughout the process.
- Arrange shipments as per customer instructions following customer SOP/Quotation.
- Complete customs entries in accordance with compliance of HMRC and the Master Airway Bill.
- Book all shipments with the airlines.
- Liaise with airlines and handling agents.
- Arrange and complete cross trade bookings.
- Support customers with costing and invoicing.
- Oversee shipment status, identify and ensure resolution of active shipment incidents.
- Act as internal & customer facing front end to all operational process on active shipment.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
To be successful in your application you will have proven experience of working within a freight forwarding or air operations environment.You will be IT literate and so be able to use MS based programs such as Excel or Word. You will have good attention to details and be organised to effectively handle the fast-paced nature of the operation.
