The Barren River Area Development District is a multi-jurisdictional planning and development agency which serves the BRADD area, ten county region. This position aids local governments within the region to enable economic and community growth; assists in obtaining funding for projects; provides project assistance to ensure compliance with funding agencies.
Responsibilities
- Project profiles in statewide database, maintenance of resource information, assistance with broadband expansion and other infrastructure development.
- The position supports the Barren River Water Management Council and aids individual utilities with project planning and development.
- Works closely with KIA (KY Infrastructure Authority), local elected officials, and other state agencies.
Required
- A Bachelors degree in a related field.
- Experience with state and federal programs is desired.
- All applicants are required to pass a background check, have a car and valid driver’s license.
