Positive Behaviour Mentor – Aspiring Forensic Psychologist (West Drayton)
Milk Education, a wellbeing‑led and eco‑friendly education agency, is seeking passionate and resilient graduates to join a specialist SEMH school in Hillingdon as a Positive Behaviour Mentor.
Location: Hillingdon
Pay: £101.40 per day
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am-3:45pm (term time only)
Start Dates: June 2026 & September 2026
Interviews & Trial Days: May-June 2026 (June start) / July-August 2026 (September start)
Positive Behaviour Mentor responsibilities include:
- Build trusting, consistent relationships with young people, helping them feel heard, valued, and supported
- Encourage emotional literacy and self-awareness through mentoring and restorative conversations
- Support pupils in developing resilience, self-regulation, and positive decision‑t‑making skills
- Work 1:1 and in small groups, delivering intervention programmes that promote pro‑s…
- Celebrate progress, no matter how small, and help pupils recognise their own strengths
- Collaborate with staff to create a safe, nurturing environment where every pupil can thrive
- Support community safety work, helping young people make positive choices and avoid risks such as exploitation or peer pressure
This role is a stepping stone into careers in Forensic Psychology, Youth Justice, Social Work, Counselling, Probation, and Mental Health Services.
