About this role:
We are looking for a Founding Deployment Strategist with 2β6 years of experience to own end-to-end pilot deployments for a stealth-stage AI company transforming the $3T commercial insurance market. You'll be the first dedicated deployment hire, working directly with the founders to get our product live inside the world's largest insurance brokers β managing 1β2 pilots at a time, translating business needs for engineers, and turning what you learn on the ground into the playbook for how we scale everywhere else.
What will you be doing?
β’ Managing all non-engineering work on 1β2 active pilot deployments in parallel, including all client communication, data gathering, and stakeholder management
β’ Collaborating closely with engineers to translate complex broker workflows and business needs into product requirements
β’ Driving pilots to convert into full deployments and expanding into additional lines of business within each account
β’ Responding to client emails, running meetings with structure, and ensuring nothing slips through the cracks in high-ambiguity conditions
β’ Building demos and prototypes using AI tools (e.g. Claude) to support client conversations and sales calls
Key Requirements
β’ Experience as a deployment strategist at a high-growth startup, MBB consultant (BA to Manager level), or investment banker at a top-tier bank β startup deployment experience is the #1 priority
β’ Exceptional soft skills and high EQ β you must be likable, structured, and able to manage senior enterprise stakeholders without losing the room
β’ Strong structuring and analytical skills to operate under extreme ambiguity; consulting-style problem-solving ability is tested in the interview process
β’ AI native β comfortable building with tools like Claude/Cursor and able to demo products; hackathon experience or personal AI projects are strong signals
β’ Willing to work on-site 5 days/week in London (Vauxhall) with high intensity (~9amβ9pm), plus regular travel to broker offices across the UK
What to ask candidates
β’ Walk us through a deployment or implementation where you got software adopted inside an organization that didn't originally ask for it. What was your role and how'd you get buy-in from skeptical stakeholders?
β’ Can the candidate be on-site? If not, is the candidate willing to relocate?
β’ What is their salary expectation?
β’ How actively is this candidate exploring new opportunities?
