5 - 12 years of experience in enterprise client relationship management or B2B sales into institutional finance (asset managers, PE, private credit, hedge funds), with demonstrated ability to own senior relationships and drive commercial outcomes
Work experience
5+ years in a client- facing role at or selling into institutional finance firms — asset managers, PE/private credit funds, hedge funds (e. g. , Carlyle, JP Morgan Innovation, similar). Must have lived the workflows Auquan automates (credit analysis, portfolio monitoring, ESG, compliance).
Full- cycle commercial ownership: has generated pipeline outbound, managed senior relationships, and driven deals to close — not purely a renewal or support role. Can own the US enterprise motion end- to- end.
Archetype A — Finance- to- GTM transition: came from an analyst, investor relations, or credit role at a major institution and moved into business development, commercial strategy, or GTM at a fintech/AI startup (e. g. , Rogo, Finster AI, similar).
Archetype B — Enterprise AE with finance vertical depth: strong enterprise sales background at a fintech, data, or AI/ML startup selling into asset managers or institutional finance. Startup or high- growth experience required; pure Big Tech or legacy software not sufficient.

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a quantitative field
