At AIG, we are reimagining the way we help customers to manage risk. Join us as AIG’s multinational Issuing Office Manager to play your part in that transformation. This role focuses on delivering multinational insurance solutions for global clients, tailoring policies, and ensuring compliance across borders. You will partner with underwriters, risk engineers, analytics, and claims professionals to design, implement, and service multinational insurance programs, including timely policy issuance, regulatory advice, money movement capabilities, and large fronted limits.
Responsibilities
- Supervise a team of Multinational Issuing Office Coordinators, Issuing Office Specialists, and supporting resources to deliver client service and execution within agreed SLAs.
- Partner with Shared Services teams to optimize workflow efficiency, drive service level improvement and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Engage with internal stakeholders in product, reinsurance, collections, tax, and legal to ensure the execution of compliant UK policies and bookings.
- Communicate UK regulatory and policy implementation requirements to the AIG global network to reduce rework.
- Coordinate administration of renewal or pre‑issuance home/exposure state regulatory notifications.
- Monitor UK office performance to identify opportunities for service, quality, workflow, and operational improvements.
- Oversee pre‑ and post‑bind activities on the UK Issuing Office portfolio, embedding core principles of the end‑to‑end process.
- Execute compliant and accurate policies, bookings, and invoices within agreed SLAs.
- Support the development, testing, and implementation of new Multinational systems and practices, including Multinational Xpress.
- Foster a learning environment that promotes employee growth, training, career development, and succession planning.
- Ensure service level standards and performance metrics are met, improving client experience as measured by satisfaction.
- Create a risk‑aware culture of integrity and accountability, ensuring compliance with AIG policies and procedures.
- Support the execution of the Multinational strategy within the region and establish regular communication with key stakeholders.
- Assist with multinational growth strategies, business development, thought leadership, and training as appropriate.
Qualifications

- Strong multitasking abilities with organization, meeting tight deadlines, and maintaining service standards.
- Excellent communication skills, able to articulate ideas and influence outcomes.
- Knowledge of operational improvements and ability to acquire technical knowledge related to those improvements.
- Strong technical knowledge of multinational programs and regulatory issues, product requirements, reinsurance, tax, collections, producer licensing, and supporting systems.
- Knowledge of multiple lines of business – Commercial & Personal Lines, and non‑conventional insurance programs.
