Reporting into the UK Head of Claims Operations, the role will be a key member of the team and provide support in the Multinational and Network Partner space for all claims LoB. This is an operational role supporting the oversight of Multinational and Network Partner claim practices, to monitor the cost and outcomes of claims and identify opportunities for improvement or remediation. The role will work in close collaboration with the Multinational Claims Team and our strategic partner, Accenture.

We are looking for a dynamic person, with operational experience preferably in a Claims Organisation and a working knowledge of Multinational Insurance business. Knowledge of more than one Line of Business will be advantageous. The role will require an analytical mindset and the ability to manage differing priorities. You will have excellent IT skills including expert or superior knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Power BI.

How you will make impact:
  • Drive a strong control framework across Multinational and Network Partner Claims, working with Technical Claims, Multinational Claims and Accenture
  • Own and track key performance metrics, conducting analysis to identify trends, risks, improvement opportunities
  • Support the continued improvement of the Multinational and Network Partner Claims Processes and Procedures
  • Challenge current processes and ways of working, identifying opportunities and driving positive change within the Multinational and Network Partner space whilst aligning to the broader International and Global priorities
  • Effectively deliver improvement initiatives and projects across the Multinational Claims space, leading projects independently and working closely with relevant stakeholders across the business
  • Advise the Multinational Claims team in relation to proposed process change and the Governance and Control impacts on the Claims Organisation
  • Maintain strong stakeholder engagement and communication with a focus on collaboration within the UK and Multinational Claims
  • Execute Global and International strategic initiatives to ensure Multinational and Network Partner embed change and that any local regulatory requirements are catered for whilst recognising the importance of consistency and alignment
  • Maintain strong first line controls for key risks identified in Multinational and Network Partner and impacting overall Claims, working collaboratively with Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), Operational Risk Management (ORM), Internal Audit Group (IAG) and Compliance to continuously improve
What we’re looking for:
  • A strong working knowledge of Multinational Insurance business
  • Strong technical and operational skills gained in an insurer, preferably within claims
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across all levels including senior management
  • Superior knowledge of Microsoft Excel & Power BI
  • Strong financial acumen and intuition with the ability to handle large and complex issues/data
  • The ability to plan, prioritise and organise work and effectively resolve conflict among priorities
  • Understanding of different cultures and legislative environments
  • Good decision making and mediation skills
