How you will create an impact
- Focused on Cyber notifications you will be responsible for a portfolio of high value, complex notifications end to end.
- Manage notifications arising from ransomware, breaches, network interruption, cyber extortion and data loss.
- Work with our underwriters, specialist teams and vendors to deliver bespoke pre-loss workshops to our Cyber Insureds.
- You will work to minimize indemnity exposure and mitigating vendor expense while managing financial and reputational risks for our Insureds.
- You will communicate regularly with internal and external stakeholders in your role as our technical claims expert and thought leader.
- As a senior member of the team, you will provide training and be a technical referral point for colleagues.
- You will also contribute to continuous improvement in Claims by supporting Quality Assurance / Regional Audit processes, ensuring mitigation of indemnity and expense exposure while communicating developments and outcomes as necessary to all key internal and external stakeholders.
What you'll need to succeed:
- Advanced knowledge of legal / regulatory and litigation / procedural requirements for Cyber Claims.
- Deep experience of working with incident response teams, vendors and Insureds.
- Advanced communication and presentation skills.
- Advanced policy language skills enabling accurate and consistent policy wording interpretation.
- Experience in negotiation, mediation, arbitration and ADR skills on higher value complex claims.
- A track record of following up effectively on recommendations from technical claims audits and continuous file handling improvement.
- The ability to influence claims and non-claims stakeholders to effectively direct strategy.
- The ability to assist with technical training to the team's claim handlers as required.
