The team has a multi-dimensional impact, from helping avoid legal exposure to collaborating with other functions to develop cutting-edge new products.
How you will create an impact
This is a varied and dynamic role where you will be supporting the Governance/Company Secretariat and Corporate Legal team with a range of company secretarial and administrative duties. You will support the management of multiple boards in the UK and Europe and you will gain exposure to statutory compliance, board support, and entity management. This role involves dealing with people at all levels within the business, including senior management and the Board, which is comprised of executive and independent non-executive directors.
Some of the key responsibilities include:
- Scheduling Board and committee meetings
- Undertaking all admin tasks related to Board meeting preparation, including but not limited to:
- Creating first draft of agendas
- Sending out reminders for paper submission deadlines
- Chasing late papers
- Arranging printing, binding and delivery of meeting packs for Board Chair
- Creating annotated agenda for Chairs
- Sending meeting invites to presenters for their items
- Arranging catering for Board and committee meetings and Board dinner
- Ad-hoc Board support tasks as may be required
