We are hiring for a Regional Claims Team Financial Lines Claims Team Manager. You will manage a Team of 11 Claims Adjusters who handle a mixed case load of Major Loss and Complex PI, D&O, EPL, Crime and Cyber claims.

How you will create an impact
- Focused on UK Claims Financial Lines, you will be responsible for a portfolio of high value, complex claims from coverage inquiry through legal liability assessment and quantum analysis, to timely and accurate resolution.
- Your goal will be timely, accurate and customer-focused claim resolution, minimizing indemnity exposure and mitigating vendor and legal expense β you will actively promote and demonstrate the principles of \βTreating Customers Fairly\β in claims handling.
- You will communicate regularly with internal and external stakeholders in your role as our UK Claims Financial Lines, technical claims expert and thought leader.
- You will also contribute to continuous improvement in Claims by supporting Quality Assurance / Regional Audit processes, ensuring mitigation of indemnity and expense exposure while communicating developments and outcomes as necessary to all key internal and external stakeholders.
What you\βll need to succeed
- Advanced knowledge of legal / regulatory and litigation / procedural requirements for UK Claims Financial Lines.
- Experience in negotiation, mediation, arbitration and ADR skills on higher value complex claims.
- Policy language skills enabling accurate and consistent policy wording interpretation.
- A track record of following up effectively on recommendations from technical claims audits and continuous file handling improvement.
- The ability to influence claims and non-claims stakeholders to effectively direct claims strategy.
- Technical training to the team\βs claim handlers as required.
