This role is in support of Cencora's third party logistics service in Europe operating through our Alloga business.

Position Summary

Cencora 3PL is replacing seven fragmented country IT stacks with a single pan-European platform spanning ERP, WMS, integration middleware, Client Portal, O2C and Analytics across 15 countries. This role owns the master data and entity governance foundations that determine whether that platform operates as a coherent system - or replicates the fragmentation it was designed to replace. Sitting above-market and reporting to the VP Business Transformation, this is a strategic governance role, not a data maintenance function. You will define critical business entities, establish cross-market ownership structures and ensure data standards are agreed once and applied consistently - starting in Discovery and carrying through every subsequent rollout wave.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and govern the critical entity model across the full technology transformation scope - covering Client/Principal, End-Customer, Product/SKU, Location, Warehouse/Site, Carrier, Contract, Pricing, Service, Credit/Payment Terms, Licence/Compliance and Finance master data.
  • Establish a federated data ownership model - defining Business Owner, Data Steward and IT Owner per entity across O2C, Commercial, Finance, Operations, Quality and local markets.
  • Assess data readiness for O2C automation, Portal, Analytics and AI-enabled operations - translating gaps into integration assumptions, Business Case implications and sequencing constraints.
  • Differentiation and ownership of the data dependency view for Client Portal and downstream customer portal(s) separately - preventing fragmented local data models from being hard-coded into a new strategic front end.
  • Work closely with IT Architecture and integration teams to define which entities must become reusable data services across ERP, WMS, Axway/Gateway, Portal and Analytics.
  • Provide decision-quality input to Design Authority and SteerCo - on entity ownership, golden record strategy, portal data architecture and integration assumptions.
  • Challenge local data exceptions constructively and hold the single-template principle across markets.

Candidate Requirements

  • Proven track record leading enterprise master data and entity governance in multi-country, multi-system environments - across customer, product, finance and logistics domains simultaneously.
  • Hands-on experience with golden record design, entity resolution, cross-reference/alias mapping and hierarchy management.
  • Ability to translate data gaps directly into business impact, integration effort, automation feasibility and Business Case assumptions.
  • Experience in ERP/WMS/CRM/portal/integration-heavy environments - D365 or SAP preferred; Axway or comparable middleware advantageous.
  • Strong stakeholder facilitation skills - able to drive ownership decisions across Commercial, Finance, IT and Operations without owning every downstream process.
  • Background in regulated industries - pharma, healthcare, logistics or life sciences preferred.
  • Comfortable building governance structure in environments with fragmented legacy systems, scarce SME capacity and high transformation pressure.
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.
  • 8+ years in enterprise data governance or MDM leadership.
  • Fluent English required; additional European language advantageous.

This role is available on a hybrid basis, attached to one of our 3PL in Europe.

Benefit offerings outside the US may vary by country and will be aligned to local market practice. The eligibility and effective date may differ for some benefits and for team members covered under collective bargaining agreements.
