Ensure that agreed productivity rates are achieved and labour costs fall within agreed targets, relating to the number of SKUs and lines processed.
Use IT, Manhattan, Knapp, and manual aids to monitor staff performance in areas of productivity and accuracy in relation to agreed targets in SKU and line movement.
Assist the management team within the disciplinary process by completing investigations or taking minutes when required.
Ensure damages are kept below the agreed levels (aiming for no damaged stock).
Ensure missing orders/stock are kept within agreed targets.
Responsible for the organisation of staff and ensure they maintain the agreed level of performance throughout the shift.
Ensure all return-to-work forms are completed within the correct time scale.
Follow fully with H&S regulations and ensure all staff comply.
Ensure all 121s are completed within the agreed time scale.
Attend training and develop relevant knowledge and skills.
Liaise with other team members within the site to ensure smooth workflow through the warehouse.
Ensure all staff keep their areas of responsibility of housekeeping to the agreed standards at all times.
Ensure all stock/returns have been put away to the correct location each day.
Ensure all documentation is presented to each manager on completion of the shift.
Responsible for completion of team sheets.
Ensure leadership and motivation is given through regular daily and weekly team brief to staff.
