Are you a skilled phlebotomist who enjoys working independently and providing exceptional patient care? We’re seeking a Mobile Phlebotomist to join our growing team serving patients throughout Portsmouth — visiting patient homes, skilled nursing and assisted living communities, and bringing quality laboratory services directly to the people who need them most.
What your day looks like:
- Travel to patient homes, nursing and assisted living facilities, and other healthcare locations across Portsmouth, Ohio
- Collect blood specimens using expert venipuncture and capillary collection techniques
- Verify patient identification and ensure accurate specimen labeling, integrity, and transport
- Provide professional, compassionate service to elderly patients and healthcare partners
- Complete required documentation and communicate clearly with laboratory and facility staff
Requirements:
- Phlebotomy certification preferred; minimum one year of phlebotomy experience preferred
- Strong venipuncture skills, especially with elderly patients
- Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, current auto insurance (100/300/100), and age 21+
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- The self-direction to work independently and manage a flexible schedule
