We are looking for a Finance Business Partner to join our Financial Planning & Analysis team at our Retail Support Centre in Warrington. Reporting to the Head of Financial Planning and Analysis, this role plays a key part in supporting trading, commercial, and operational teams across the business.
Working closely with senior leaders and stakeholders at all levels, you will provide timely financial insight, robust analysis, and constructive commercial challenge. You will help ensure budgets, forecasts, and trading decisions are well informed, balanced, and aligned to business objectives. This role is well suited to a qualified finance professional with strong analytical capability, commercial awareness, and the confidence to work with non-finance stakeholders.

How You'll Make an Impact
- Play an integral role in the group budgeting and forecasting process across Retail, Commercial, Marketing, People, and Warehousing functions.
- Produce weekly trade packs and monthly board packs, including variance analysis, performance commentary, and actionable insight.
- Consolidate and analyse monthly market data to support commercial decision‑making.
- Partner with Category Managers to provide commercial insight that supports buying decisions, margin management, and category planning.
- Deliver pre‑ and post‑promotional analysis to assess performance, profitability, and return on investment.
- Analyse true product cost of sale, identifying opportunities to reduce costs and improve margins.
- Provide recommendations on trading, pricing, and promotional activity to support performance improvement.
- Support retail stores with analytics, MI, and performance insight to help drive sales and margin.
- Build and maintain financial models for new store openings and trading scenarios.
- Manage and analyse OTB / WSSI on a weekly basis, highlighting risks and opportunities.
- Monitor performance against targets and KPIs, providing ongoing support to trading teams.
- Build strong working relationships with Category Managers and wider commercial teams.
- Communicate financial information clearly and confidently, tailoring insight for different audiences.
What You'll Bring
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with a strong technical accounting foundation.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insight.
- Advanced Excel skills, with experience handling large data sets and building financial models.

- A proactive, dependable approach, able to work independently while contributing effectively within a team.
- Strong commercial awareness, ideally gained within a retail or consumer‑focused environment (desirable).
