Join the American Golf team as an eCommerce Tech Lead and help shape the technical direction of our online platforms. Based in our Retail Support Centre in Warrington, you will drive innovation, performance, and scalability across web and mobile to deliver a seamless omni‑channel experience for our customers.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Define and own the eCommerce technical roadmap, ensuring scalable, secure platforms that support a true omni‑channel customer experience.
- Lead the end‑to‑end technical delivery of new features, integrations and enhancements across web and mobile.
- Partner with Product, Digital Trading, UX and Marketing teams to align technical solutions with commercial goals.
- Oversee key integrations, including payment gateways, CRM, ERP, and fulfilment platforms.
- Champion best practices in coding, testing and deployment processes.
- Monitor and optimise site performance, driving improvements in speed, accessibility and reliability.
- Manage relationships with external developers and technology partners, ensuring high‑quality delivery.
- Mentor and develop a team of developers and QA engineers, fostering innovation and collaboration.
What You’ll Bring
- Proven experience in eCommerce development and technical leadership.
- Strong understanding of ecommerce platforms such as Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Magento, Shopify Plus or equivalent.
- Experience with integrations across payment systems, CRM, ERP, OMS and third‑party platforms.
- Strong architectural design and problem‑solving skills with a track record of delivering scalable, high‑performing solutions.
- Experience working in agile environments and managing multiple priorities effectively.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non‑technical stakeholders.
- A passion for innovation and improving the digital customer journey through a true omni‑channel approach.
