We are now looking for a highly organised and detail-driven Digital Merchandiser to join our eCommerce team. In this role, you will help elevate our onsite product experience, improve product discoverability, and support the commercial performance of our websites. You will play a key part in enhancing the digital customer journey — ensuring customers can easily find, understand, and purchase the products they love.
Working closely with Digital Trading, Marketing, Category Management, SEO, and Customer Services, you will drive onsite merchandising excellence and manage the full process of product creation, attribution, and presentation. You will also lead and support the Digital Product Content Executive, ensuring accuracy, brand consistency, and best-in-class execution across all product content.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end product creation, ensuring timely and accurate product setup aligned to launch timelines.
- Collaborate with Category Managers and Marketing on launches, pre-orders, embargo dates, and onsite content requirements.
- Lead and support the Digital Product Content Executive in delivering optimised product copy, H1 titles, and SEO-friendly product information.
- Manage product attribution data to enhance filtering, navigation, discoverability, and overall customer journey performance.
- Maintain and develop product attribution strategy to strengthen onsite search and merchandising controls.
- Ensure accurate product publishing across all relevant websites with consistent brand and category visibility.
- Partner with Customer Services to resolve product-related issues and support customer accuracy.
- Support promotional setup and product eligibility alongside Buying & Merchandising teams.
Onsite Search & Merchandising
- Execute onsite merchandising across PLPs, navigation, and search to support conversion and engagement.
- Implement and manage ranking strategies, PLP sorting rules, and product recommendation placements.
- Maintain navigational hierarchy, filtering rules, LHN structure, and category integrity.
- Optimise onsite search through improved redirects, synonyms, rules, and general search hygiene.
- Support A/B testing programmes to improve conversion and customer experience.
- Work closely with SEO to enhance category titles, metadata, landing pages, and keyword-rich content.
Reporting, Housekeeping & Site Accuracy
- Maintain the daily Product Create Sheet and ensure accurate product data and clear handovers.
- Monitor site and product performance, reviewing product surfacing, user behaviour, and merchandising effectiveness.
- Conduct daily checks on in-stock products not yet live and action fixes promptly.
- Cross-reference intake and restock lines to ensure correct product visibility.
- Produce weekly search and merchandising reports with actionable insights.
- Review listings, badges, LHN structure, and navigational pathways for accuracy and consistency.
- Manage standard and seasonal campaign pages, ensuring optimised product presentation.
- Support trading reviews with insights on onsite performance, upcoming opportunities, and merchandising activity.
What You’ll Bring
- Experience working in a digital trading or digital merchandising environment.
- Strong understanding of SEO principles and onsite optimisation.
- Ability to analyse performance data and convert insight into tangible improvements.
- Deep understanding of product attribution, filtering, categorisation, and navigation.
- Experience using search and merchandising platforms (e.g., Algolia, Commercetools, Amplience).
- Excellent communication skills and collaborative approach across cross-functional teams.
- Proactive problem-solving mindset with exceptional attention to detail.
- Customer-first thinking with the ability to balance commercial and UX priorities.
- Golf knowledge is an advantage but not essential.
