Expanding leadership in the premium space is one of American Express’s strategic imperatives and a key part of the Company’s Framework for Winning. The International Premium Products team will help deliver against this salient strategy by supporting American Express’s consumer business across 23 International markets.

The International Premium Products team in London will lead the development of next generation premium value propositions by setting a holistic premium product vision and strategy – and partnering with markets across International to implement and deliver. The group is responsible for the International Premium Products long-range plan and will work closely with local markets to understand and influence roadmaps, deliver on deployment plans as well as E2E manage and execute Centurion Experiential Strategy.

How will you make an impact in this role?

The Manager will form a part of a high performing team responsible for Centurion product strategy development, Product marketing assets deployment and execution. The strategy comprises of Centurion Living experiential program (18+ International markets), Centurion Wine club and Event exchange as well as other strategic initiatives. The successful candidate will possess outstanding project management, relationship management, strategic thinking, excellent communication, influencing and organizational skills.

Responsibilities:

  • International Centurion Experiential program communications strategy design, execution and deployment
  • Design and develop a strategic high performing marketing and communications plans that drive customer engagement and brand loyalty
  • Effectively manage multiple communication channels and develop ultra premium assets that fit the program objectives and KPIs
  • Build new centrally developed assets and deploy across 18+ international markets, efficiently managing market engagement, partners and key stakeholders
  • Effective external agency and freelancers management
  • Contract signing and execution for external vendors, suppliers will be required including Third Party Lifecycle Management
  • Program performance tracking, developing insights and reporting
  • Market engagement and alignment

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated Experiential or premium luxury marketing experience, creative thinking and ability to use multiple communication channels to drive engagement is a must
  • Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional initiatives at American Express incl. end-to-end execution across operationally complex projects
  • Marketing experience with deep understanding of local market deployment processes (campaign deployment, iMH, AEMP54) is required
  • Demonstrated experience and passion for luxury product and experiential marketing
  • Experience is contract negotiation and execution is preferred
  • Excellent communication, influencing and presentation skills with a strong sense of personal excellence and accountability
  • Prior experience in effectively managing external agencies and freelancers
  • High attention to detail and ability to develop impactful presentations utilising data is required
  • International experience and knowledge; cultural sensitivity and ability to work across multiple markets / cultures
  • Ability to build strong relationships at all levels and work effectively in a collaborative, multi-cultural team environment
  • Positive, mature approach to problem solving.
