The Colleague Experience Group (CEG) – our Human Resources function – is focused on delivering the best colleague experience to fuel growth. We are transforming colleague onboarding into a seamless, integrated, and personalized experience.
New to Blue is our global colleague onboarding program, supporting colleagues as they join American Express or transition into new roles. We are reimagining New to Blue into a connected, scalable experience that brings together enterprise, business unit, and role learning, enabling colleagues to become effective, confident, and productive as quickly as possible.
You will define how learning is structured within New to Blue, bringing together content from across the enterprise into clear, role-relevant journeys. This role focuses on organizing and shaping content into a coherent experience, ensuring colleagues receive the right information at the right time. You will work across enterprise, business unit, and role-based inputs to create structured pathways that are easy to navigate and aligned to colleague needs.
Working closely with stakeholders and product partners, you will shape how learning is delivered within platforms, ensuring a consistent and intuitive experience that supports confidence and performance.
Responsibilities- Design structured curricula across roles, locations, and colleague journeys
- Bring together and organize content from multiple stakeholders into clear, role-relevant pathways
- Ensure learning is consistent, relevant, and aligned to business needs
- Partner with product and UX teams to shape how learning is delivered within platforms
- Support the development of personalized learning journeys based on role and need
- Maintain quality and consistency as the program evolves
- Continuously improve learning journeys to enhance engagement, clarity, and effectiveness
- Demonstrated experience in onboarding, curriculum design, learning design, or early-tenure experience design
- Strong understanding of onboarding journeys and how learning supports speed to productivity and performance
- Proven ability to structure complex content into clear, structured programs
- Experience working with multiple stakeholders and content owners across functions
- Understanding of digital learning principles and modern learning approaches
- Ability to link learning design to business outcomes
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with attention to detail
