How will you make an impact in this role?

The Manager, Global Mobility – Immigration is a key member of the Global Well-being and Benefits team within Colleague Total Rewards and Well-being (CTRW). This role is responsible for advancing global immigration strategy and operational compliance, with a focus on work authorization governance, right to work (RTW) oversight, UK immigration sponsorship, and vendor performance management.

The role provides strategic and consultative guidance to HR partners, business leaders, and internal stakeholders, enabling compliant and timely movement of talent across international borders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver expert immigration and RTW consultation across multiple jurisdictions, supporting global hires, assignments, and international transfers.
  • Ensure compliance with UK sponsorship duties, including reporting and record keeping obligations, and maintenance of a UK sponsor license.
  • Manage RTW compliance practices globally, establishing appropriate controls, documentation standards, and audit readiness protocols.
  • Oversee global immigration vendor—monitoring SLAs, issue resolution, training, and alignment with internal policy and process expectations.
  • Conduct internal audits of immigration and RTW processes; review and validate vendor data to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.
  • Translate complex immigration and mobility matters, in partnership with external vendor, into clear, actionable solutions for HR and business stakeholders.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Legal, Compliance, and People teams to shape policy, monitor legal and regulatory changes, and lead change management efforts across impacted areas.
  • Act as SME or project lead on immigration compliance improvement initiatives, RTW process design, or cross-border workforce planning.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Experience in corporate global mobility and immigration, including direct ownership of right to work compliance and work authorization oversight.
  • Prior experience of managing responsibilities related to sponsor license and reporting.
  • Experience managing immigration vendor relationships, compliance documentation, and service performance metrics.
  • Background in supporting assignments, transfers, or entity expansions with immigration considerations.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills; ability to present findings and recommendations to executive stakeholders.
  • Proficient in interpreting compliance data, managing multiple systems, and identifying risk trends.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; professional certifications in global mobility, immigration, or international HR (e.g., GMS, SHRM, CIPD) preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a publicly traded or highly regulated organization.
  • Previous involvement in immigration audits, RTW and or UK sponsor license renewals.
  • Understanding of immigration and RTW in key regions across LAC, EMEA and APAC.
  • International exposure through global program design or overseas work experience
