The Enterprise Digital Experiences team (EDX) is responsible for the product management and design of American Express’ proprietary digital products – Amex Mobile App, americanexpress.com, Amex Offers and Customer Personalization.
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic digital Product Manager to join the Membership team to own the global redemptions web and mobile experience and focus on uplifting the backend architecture, optimizing live journeys, developing and globalizing our experiences. The Product Manager will partner closely with a team of product managers, engineers, designers, analytics and effectively engage multiple stakeholders across the organization. How will you make an impact in this role?
- Define your North Star, product vision and your roadmap by working with leadership, key stakeholders, and partners
- Drive global development for experiences, partnering closely with the Web & Mobile
- Translate product roadmap into well-defined product requirements/user stories and acceptance test criteria
- Communicate the vision of personalization, its impact to marketing and other content, and the high-level business needs to leaders across the organization
- Lead prioritization and development efforts with scrum team
- Embody design-thinking in your practice, including empathy and journey mapping, and UX research
- Leverage data and analytics (qualitative + quantitative) to drive informed decisions, experimentation and product strategy
- Understand and apply new trends and competitive best practices into product roadmap and requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- University Degree in related field required
- Significant experience in Product Management/Development
- Experience leading consumer-facing product(s) and defining a core product vision
- Solid understanding of application architecture (e.g. web, native app, PWA, etc)
- Knowledge of reporting/analytical applications, i.e. Adobe
- Experience with agile product development methodologies and tools (JIRA, Rally, Figma, Mural etc.)
- Positive and resilient attitude
- Big picture thinker who can articulate a north star vision and define a roadmap to achieve it
- Comfortable managing through ambiguity & juggling multiple priorities
- Experience building omni-channel experiences
- Proven track record leading highly complex redesigns
- Proactive collaborator with excellent communication skills and the ability to engage, influence, and inspire partners and stakeholders to drive decision making and alignment
- Highly organized with the ability to drive plans from ideation phase through to execution & measurement
- Passion for creating best-in-class products and customer experiences with a customer-first mindset
