The Global Strategy Operations & Performance (GSOP) team is a Center of Excellence (COE) within Global Merchant & Network Services (GMNS). The GMNS Analytics team within GSOP leads and manages the central data, analytics and insights processes across the merchant lifecycle to inform strategy and decision making.

We are hiring for a highly motivated and versatile Manager Assistant/Chief of Staff to act as a trusted advisor for the VP, GMNS Analytics. The Manager Assistant will see and influence how decisions are made in the organization across all strategic and operational initiatives, prepare presentations to communicate the team strategy & vision, provide recommendations for areas of improvement, and lead key activities to enable the team’s success.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assist in the day-to-day running of the team, management of business planning and operational processes.
  • Provide planning and coordination support, including project management of driving strategic initiatives, as determined by the VP, and in conjunction with key stakeholders across the business and GMNS Analytics team members.
  • Support the organization in preparing strategic business reviews/presentations and leadership updates.
  • Create impactful presentations by identifying, gathering, synthesizing and assessing a variety of data.
  • Drive the communication structure for GMNS Analytics team including managing team calls, leadership team meetings, townhalls, engagement events, market visit agenda, announcements and day to day communications.
  • Proactively develop strong network and working relationships with various constituents across the company and team in order to accomplish tasks on behalf of the team.
  • Play an active leadership role in the team’s Colleague Engagement and Development Strategy.

Minimum Qualifications

The successful candidate is a highly organized and strategic thinker who is able to handle multiple diverse projects simultaneously, while continuing to support the day to day running of the VP's office and team. Passion, energy, and personal accountability, a positive can-do attitude, an interest in working in a cross-cultural environment, and have international experience or curiosity. Composed communicator who can remain calm under pressure while effectively multitasking and re-prioritising as business needs evolve. Active listening skills, summarization skills and lateral thinking to uncover and react to emerging opportunities. Proven ability to take complex technical information and translate it into clear communications (presentations/memos) for a variety of audiences. Exceptional organizational skills, financial acumen, analytical skills. Strong sense of integrity with ability to handle sensitive issues and maintain complete confidentiality.
