Marketing is fundamental to driving growth in our businesses. On our marketing internship programme, you will be able to have a real business impact by defining data-driven, customer-centric, marketing strategies across the organisation and turning them into tangible deliverables for senior leaders.

About the Summer Internship: Through the well-established Summer Internship programme, you will gain hands-on experience in projects with strategic, operational or financial significance to the company. You will also enjoy exposure to senior leaders, networking opportunities and plenty of opportunities to deep dive into the Amex culture through your work as well as social and community events.

Skills and experience we are looking for:

  • Proven strategic thought-leadership to drive results
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving/quantitative skills. Confident leveraging large volumes of data to create meaningful, compelling insights.
  • Passion for leading people and teams. Strong understanding of relationship building, managing stakeholders and networking, with the ability to navigate a matrix organisation.
  • Excellent influencing and negotiation skills, vital to building strong internal relationships and external partnerships.
  • A passion for understanding the customer and delivering the best outcomes for them.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to successfully manage multiple competing priorities.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to conceptualise and sell ideas. Proficient in analytical and presentation tools, including MS Excel and PowerPoint.

Qualification requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in an MBA programme with a graduation date between December 2025 and July 2026
