International Governance & Control is responsible for supporting our international issuing business (ICS) across 27+ countries and ensuring they have a robust first line of defence. International Governance & Control plays an active role in enabling the businesses to meet their growth objectives whilst demonstrating an effective control framework. Our organization helps our international businesses manage non-financial risk, respond to new regulation, and develop new products whilst creating and nurturing effective partnerships across multiple key stakeholders across the organization.
The Regulatory Change Governance team within Governance & Control is responsible for the governance of a large portfolio of regulatory change initiatives across International. We report the status of open regulatory projects and act as a funnel for the pipeline of upcoming regulatory obligations to ensure ICS leadership can manage and prepare for regulatory risk. This role will report to the Manager Risk Management, Regulatory Change Governance.
How will you make an impact in this role?
- Create and manage legal entity Regulatory Change Management reporting for senior leadership partnering with key stakeholders across multiple lines of business.
- Produce timely and accurate reporting on status of regulatory change projects, highlighting trends, themes, and risks to senior leadership.
- Build strong and effective working relationships with a large international group of stakeholders across Governance & Control, ICS, Compliance, and Legal teams to drive progress on RCM delivery.
- Support implementation of improvements to RCM governance in partnership with the RCIM central program compliance team, to ensure effective process and controls are adopted and we continue to meet our stakeholder needs.
- Act as a key point of contact for RCM related enquiries from International Governance & Control / ICS Colleagues and 2nd line partners.
- Create and deliver refresher and upskilling job aids, playbooks, and training material to Governance & Control and ICS colleagues to drive performance in Regulatory Change and adherence to Enterprise program standards.
- Manage teamβs SharePoint and Confluence sites for internal and colleague use.
Minimum Qualifications:
- A self-starter who owns their role and can multi-task and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong data analytical skills and a competent user of Power BI and / or Tableau.
- Strong attention to detail and comfort with data analysis, experienced user of MS Office tools including MS Excel & PowerPoint.
- Clear verbal and written communication.
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills to work across a wide range of teams and build effective working relationships.
- A desire to learn and drive continual improvement.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Governance & Control experience a plus.
