Responsibilities
- Translate regulatory and enterprise expectations into practical first‑line processes that enable compliant, customer‑centric decision‑making.
- Partner with Operational Risk and Compliance to strengthen monitoring routines, enhance oversight, and prevent recurrence of issues.

- Support ongoing updates to Credit Risk policies, standards, and operating manuals, ensuring they remain current and aligned to regulatory expectations.
- Prepare clear, high‑quality documentation for audits, risk reviews, and regulatory assessments, ensuring strong evidence and timely responses.
- Collaborate closely with Compliance, Legal, Data Governance, Product, and second‑line functions to maintain alignment on regulatory and policy requirements.
- Communicate complex regulatory or risk topics clearly and persuasively, tailoring messages for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
Minimum Qualifications
- Strong working knowledge of UK consumer credit regulation, including FCA CONC, Consumer Duty, LSB standard, CCA, etc.
- Experience in a credit risk, operational risk, compliance, or governance role within a regulated financial services institution.
- Proven ability to manage governance processes, control frameworks, or regulatory change initiatives.
- Experience handling Operational Risk Events and coordinating cross‑functional remediation work.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence across teams.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- A proactive, detail‑oriented mindset with a commitment to robust governance and good customer outcomes.
