There is an exciting opportunity for a Privacy Analyst professional to join International Consumer Services (ICS) Regulatory Excellence – part of the International Consumer Services Governance & Control unit. The first line International Privacy & Risk Management Team (IPRM) is responsible for the implementation of high-quality privacy risk management standards and practices across International and for increasing the awareness of privacy standards, the effectiveness of controls, compliance with regulations and the adoption of industry standard methodology throughout the Company.
How will you make an impact in this role? Reporting to the Manager – IPRM – the Privacy Analyst will play a key role supporting the team with design and execution of privacy controls, processes, and procedures to ensure the proper usage and safeguarding of customer personal data, and other confidential information throughout Business Units (BUs) and the Company.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Privacy Support: Acting as a subject-matter expert in privacy by supporting BUs with privacy queries and projects impacting privacy/data protection across International.
- Governance Framework: Support activities in relation to maintenance of the privacy governance framework. Partner with Control Management teams across International to implement and execute high-quality privacy risk management standards and practices to increase awareness standards, controls, regulations, and industry best practice.
- Privacy Risk Assessments: Support the Manager and business on performing privacy assessments (e.g., DPIA, LIA, etc.) and driving consistent guidance.
- Issue Prevention: Support the business activities to prevent and resolve privacy issues, granting effective process and controls execution.
- Training and Awareness: Support the creation and maintenance of training materials & Square pages. Be proactive on supporting awareness campaigns across the business, promoting privacy culture and educating on changes to laws and regulations.
Minimum Qualifications
- Experience in privacy (GDPR and other privacy regulations). Knowledge on supporting privacy queries and privacy risk assessments (PRA).
- Experience working in an operational risk or control management environment.
- Analytical and organized, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
- Self-motivated, business and customer-focused with excellent relationship and organisational skills.
- Enjoy collaborating across teams and building strong, trust-based relationships.
- Above all, proactive, dependable, and motivated by making a real difference.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- Data Protection and Privacy Professional Certification (e.g., CIPP/E, CIPP/A, CIPP/US).
