How will you make an impact in this role?

  • Support the development and implementation of innovative strategies to attract prospective cardmembers and improve the efficiency of onboarding experience.
  • Contribute insights on prioritising portfolio objectives through lower-funnel investments.
  • Track scalable opportunities to drive continued card acquisition, billings and revenue growth.
  • Build strong relationships with local and central colleagues to deliver on the acquisition roadmap.
  • Partner effectively with other business units (Analytics, Finance, Risk, EDDS, New Accounts) to align and deliver features improving lower-funnel decision-making.
  • Maintain market awareness of competitor experiences and technological advancements in onboarding friction points (e.g., digital KYC, AML).
  • Apply knowledge of American Express card products, services, and the broader financial services industry.
  • Bring strong marketing experience (4+ years), including digital capability and/or agile development & journey optimisation.
  • Understand digital experiences, new account processes, underwriting, and decisioning protocols.
  • Manage multiple stakeholder relationships across geographies.
  • Communicate effectively, including presentations to senior leaders.
  • Analyse core prospect conversion metrics and use data sets/tools to identify trends.
  • Possess basic P&L acumen to assess business investment decisions.

Preferred Skills:

  • Safe Agile familiarity; certification a plus.
  • Familiarity with digital measurement tools (Adobe, nVision, Content Square) and operational tools (JIRA, RALLY).
  • Knowledge of Amex platforms (EAPP, Go2, Loyalty, RDE2).
  • Experience working with digital products and tech delivery teams, including product delivery roadmaps.
  • Curiosity for digital trends and identification tools.
  • Experience in forecasting, modelling, or assessing digital capabilities and tools.
  • Knowledge of AXP tech investment (BID) process or experience with LPM.
